You have the right to free speech.  You do not have the right to be heard.

The pursuit of happiness is healthy.  The guarantee of happiness by the government is not, and is what is largely wrong with "the nanny state" style of "governing" (such as it is) that Obama et. al. indulge in.

The ends do not justify the means.  I had a liberal friend of mine, after a back and forth over the pros and cons of trying terrorists like bank robbers exclaim, exasperated, that s/he "didn't care" what court terrorists were tried in "as long as they are locked up."  Not good.  It does matter.  It matters a lot.
